At A Glance

The MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Road Trip is your chance to be part of a movement of passionate young people, traveling together across Australia to help end extreme poverty. From the 8th – 15th of May we’ll unite a generation unwilling to accept the extreme poverty should exist in the world today. What can you expect if you get on board?

  • A life changing journey together with some of the most inspiring and incredible young people from every corner of Australia.
  • Cutting edge training from some of the most experienced and successful anti-poverty campaigners in Australia and around the world.
  • Real experience spreading the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY message - directly engaging with communities around Australia through flash mobs, speaking to media, public speaking in schools and much more.
  • Inspiring stories and real insight from leaders in the aid and development sector at the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Summit.
  • Meetings with key political decision makers in their electorates and in Canberra, giving you the opportunity to directly deliver our message.
  • Being a key leader in the movement that will create real change. In 2007 we successfully convinced both sides of politics to increase foreign aid by $2.3 billion – directly saving hundreds of thousands of lives.
